Our main aim is to preserve the Farm and its sheep and baby lambs.

Kissane Sheep Farm is a Large Mountain Sheep Farm, with many hundreds of Sheep and Baby Lambs and has been owned by the Family for almost 200 years.

The Farm is situated on the N71 Road, between Kenmare & Killarney National Park in County Kerry in the Republic of Ireland.

The famous panorama of Moll’s Gap is in the middle of the land, overlooking  the farm and its sheep and lambs.

We are in a Special Area of Conservation

To help the Farm survive we have opened the Farm to visitors since May of 2005 and every-day we welcome many Group Tours and Individuals & Families to come and visit the Farm and see our Sheep Dog Demonstrations & during the summer to also see the Sheep Shearing Demonstration.

In the Spring time the visitors will have the opportunity to see the many baby lambs that will be born on the Farm.

Since we are a busy working farm, we are only open to the public for demonstration purposes and the times of our demonstrations are published on our Sheep Dog Demonstration Calendar you can e-mail or contact us by phone for details.

No Pre-booking required!

No need to pre-pay or pre-book to join any of the scheduled Sheep Dog Demonstrations. You can simply turn up at the farm gates 10 to 15 minutes before the start of the demo and pay the entrance fee by cash or credit card at reception.
